The Episcopal Church Welcomes YOU!
Come to meet Jesus Christ with a Christian community that is ancient, yet modern; rooted in the mystery of God, yet connected to the reality of our lives. Whether you're a life-long Christian searching for a new church to call home, or you're feeling lost or curious about your spiritual life, we'd love to meet you.
Mother Laurie will be on sabbatical from July 18th to September 25th. If you have any questions about the church or about scheduling events, please direct them to Mother Kathy, our assisting priest, at the phone number above. To understand of the purpose of a sabbatical for clergy, this blog post by Denise Brown explains the need for this time of reflection.
The Two Sacraments Instituted by Jesus: Eucharist and Baptism
The Sacrament of Baptism is the ritual of initiation that indicates our desire to enter into a relationship with Jesus Christ and the Church.
Following the practice of the early church, we baptize both infants and adults in the Episcopal Church in the belief that God's love extends to everyone regardless of their age or understanding of doctrine.
The sacrament of baptism is available at any time of the year. When those who should be present can be there, when the candidate for baptism (or her/his parents) is ready, when the church community can come together in support...we can baptize. God welcomes you.
If you or a loved one would like to be baptized, fill out this Google form. If you have more questions, contact Mother Laurie for more information.
