Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
     where there is hatred, let me sow love;
     where there is injury, pardon;
     where there is doubt, faith;
     where there is despair, hope;
     where there is darkness, light; and
     where there is sadness, joy.
O, God, grant that I may not so much
seek to be consoled as to console;
     to be understood as to understand;
     to be loved as to love;
     for it is in giving that we receive;
     it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
     and it is in dying
     that we are born to eternal life. Amen.

Feast of St. Francis

The Feast of St. Francis is celebrated on October 4.

St. Francis is the patron saint of animals and the environment and worship inspired by this Feast typically include pet blessings, prayers for environmental protection and conservation, and a call to a lifestyle based in simplicity and service of others.

We began the pandemic year by joining with the Washington National Cathedral for their Sunday service at 10.15 am (Central time)

The WNC services are available online at their YouTube Channel.

ZOOM COFFEE HOUR will begin at 11.30 am on these Sundays, after the WNC service has concluded.
